Oceania

What have I learnt about oceania this term …

There are over 10,000 islands in Oceania but only 14 countries.

Dez and I got to the island Samoa to find out about.  In Samoa the legend says that coconut originated from a mythical eel and a girl named Sina.

And we learnt about panipopo, Samoa’s national dish. It is a sweet dough covered with a sweet coconut sauce

Did you know that Samoa is 3,500 years old, and in 1962 1st of July Samoa gained independence from Aotearoa?

Film

I made a film in my class and the film that I did was so fun also the group had a good time too. The film was about someone bullying another person in volleyball, I learnt that I can do stuff like help my friends out when they don’t know what to do.  And I learnt that me and my group can work together and can’t wait for next years one.
